I arrived in Washington DC 17 years ago from Key West, Fl., where I owned and operated a retail store and also worked in the house painting business. After a very hot and long summer, I moved to DC where I started my own painting and drywall repair business specializing in custom work for clients and providing services for a number of general contractors. A large portion of my business came from the preferred list of painters for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage where I was called upon to help prepare houses which were going on the market as well as to repaint houses for buyers after purchase. That experience allowed me access many houses in the DC area and gave me some insight into the real estate market. I learned what sellers need to do to prepare for listing their homes and what buyers should be looking for when they are making a purchase.
After retiring from the painting business I joined the JBR Group at Coldwell Banker on Capitol Hill, and I honed the skills I acquired during my painting years. They believe, as do I, that putting all your efforts into satisfying and servicing their clients is priority number one!
